Scholarships – Exemption

Scholarships – Fees’ Exemption

Postgraduate students who meet the criteria set out in Law 4957/2022 (Article 86) may be exempted from paying tuition fees.

The exemption does not apply to students who

  • Have already been exempted in another MSc.
  • They have received a scholarship or grant from another source.

The percentage of exempted students must not exceed 30% of the total number of students who are admitted to the MSc program.

Exemption requests are submitted by interested parties to the MSc Secretariat after the selection process.

  • Excellence Scholarships

When the number of enrolled students reaches the maximum, three (3) scholarships will be awarded, one for each MSc specialization.

Scholarships will be awarded to full-time students who achieve the highest academic performance (GPA) in the first and second semesters.

  • The scholarship waives fees for the third semester.
  • If tied, the scholarship will be split equally between the tied students.
  • The scholarship is not available to students who have received a scholarship or grant from another source or who have received a fee waiver.

The number and amount of scholarships may be adjusted, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 35 of Law 4485/2017, by decision of the MSc Coordination Committee, depending on the number of students admitted and those exempted from tuition fees.
