According to article 31 of Law No. 4485/2017, the competent bodies responsible for the establishment, management and operation of the MSc are:
- The Senate of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh).
- The Assembly of the Department of Physical Education & Sport at DUTh.
- The MSc Coordinating Committee (CC), consisting of five members of the Department of Physical Education & Sport at DUTh.
- The Postgraduate Studies Committee of the Department of Physical Education & Sport at DUTh
- The Director of the MSc.
