Internship

The internship is a supervised educational experience in a public or private sector institution that is relevant to the subject of study. It aims to link theoretical knowledge with practical application and help students acquire professional skills, familiarizing them with real working conditions in the fields of sport, recreation, tourism and education.

Required Documents for the Implementation of the Internship

To begin your internship, you must submit the following documents:

  1. Internship Application Form (In-person Internship)
  2. Internship Declaration Form (Responsible Statement)
  3. Bank Account Declaration Form for the Research Committee of D.U.Th. Please also submit a copy of your corporate bank account statement.
  4. Internship Timetable. You are required to submit two separate internship timetables: One timetable including the total number of hours (covering time spent at the host organization, study hours, and writing): Internship Timetable – 375 hours One timetable including only the hours of physical presence at the host organization: Internship Timetable – 160 hour
  5. Completion of the required fields in the Excel sheet titled “Name List”

Documents Required Upon Completion of the Internship

After the internship has been completed, the following documents must be submitted:

  1. Internship Evaluation Form
  2. Internship Final Report (in Word format)
  3. Certificate of Completion from the Host Organization
  4. Final Internship Timetable

All application forms must be completed electronically (typed on a computer). Any documents that require a signature must be submitted in one of the following ways:

  • Digitally signed (e.g. via the gov.gr platform or equivalent) and sent electronically,

or

  • Hand-signed and sent by post in physical form.
