APPLICATION SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Interested parties must submit their application package (Application and Supporting Documents) exclusively online on the Postgraduate Program website,  https://stourdance.phyed.duth.gr/  following the application submission instructions.

The application acts as a solemn declaration under Article 8 of Law 1599/1986, and inaccuracies in the declared information incur the prescribed criminal and administrative penalties.

Candidates will receive a confirmation email of their application submission with their application protocol number at the email address provided.

Candidates that they are selected will be required to submit their application package in hard copy for their registration.

NOTE:   A separate application must be submitted for each specialization.

NOTE: The candidate is solely responsible for the correct completion of the online application. Since the applications are processed electronically, candidates are required to fill in the relevant boxes / fields of the electronic applications, which refer to the respective qualifications they possess. If the candidates do not fill in these boxes/fields or if they fill in other boxes, apart from those mentioned in the specific qualifications or if they mention them in other parts of the online application, the qualifications will not be taken into account, even if the relevant supporting documents are submitted

Each specialization requires a separate application for candidacy. You can apply for all three (3) specializations.

 

  1. Copy of First Cycle Degree CertificateCopy of First Cycle Degree Certificate: From Greek Higher Education Institutions (Universities and TEIs) or equivalent institutions abroad, indicating the exact grade, date, and year of acquisition. If the grade is expressed in a qualitative descriptor or whole number, a certificate from the respective school with the exact numerical grade must be submitted.

In the case of a degree from a foreign equivalent institution, a certified copy and translation must be submitted, accompanied by the DOATAP Act, if already issued, recognizing equivalence and correspondence, as well as a certificate of equivalence of the grading scale with the domestic grading scale. If the DOATAP Act has not been issued, will be applied the provisions of article 304 paragraph 4 of law 4957/2022

Those who have completed their studies but have not yet graduated must necessarily submit: a) a certificate of completion of studies, and b) a transcript of all courses with the exact degree grade and a note that only the graduation ceremony is pending.

  1. Copy of Police ID or Passport

Photocopy of both sides of the ID card or the relevant temporary certificate from the competent authority or the critical pages of the passport (i.e., those where the number and identity details of the holder are indicated).

  1. One (1) Letter of Recommendation
  2. Certificate of "Good" Knowledge (Level B2) of a Foreign Language: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish

 

Additionally Scored Documents:

 

  1. Proof of presentations at scientific conferences domestically or abroad
  2. Proof of presentations at scientific conferences domestically or abroad
  3. Proof of proven professional experience
  4. Participation in funded/research programs
  5. Another degree from a university or TEI
  6. Master’s Degree
  7. Doctoral Degree

 

Candidates must possess the necessary qualifications [e.g., degree or certificate of completion of studies, foreign language certificate, etc.] by the application submission deadline, as well as the required supporting documents (e.g., certificates of recognition and equivalence of their degrees, if acquired abroad, etc.).

 

Note: Clear and legible photocopies of supporting documents submitted in the application folder are accepted if they have been issued:

a) by Public Sector Bodies in Greece (e.g., university degrees, transcripts)

b) abroad (e.g., university degrees, transcripts, or foreign language certificates), provided that these documents have been certified by a lawyer.
